Victoria Lane Office Campus

Base-isolated for superior seismic resilience

The Victoria Lane Office Campus represents the next exciting stage of Willis Bond & Co’s Cuba Precinct project and offers 10,000m² of new, base-isolated office space in the heart of the city.

The new base-isolated Victoria Lane Office Campus is an ideal location for tenants looking to maintain and strengthen connections with clients and the CBD, while offering employees an exceptional place to work.

The office campus occupies the Victoria Street edge of Willis Bond’s Cuba Precinct development and is being built in two stages. Stage 1 delivers over 3,000m² of large-format office space on levels 1-3 of the new, base-isolated Victoria Lane Apartments building.

Stage 2 will deliver another 7,000m² of large-format office space in a new 100%+ NBS commercial building (which can also be base-isolated) on the adjacent Dixon Street corner.

Floors in both sites can be leased together, separately or sub-divided and, for tenants looking for a large amount of space, there is the ability to link levels 1-3 in both buildings to create three 2,000m² super-floors.

Both campus sites offer base isolation – the gold standard in seismic resilience – as well as large flexible floors with three+ metre ceiling heights, extensive glazing for excellent natural light and dedicated lift lobbies.

The two campus stages are set to be ready for occupation in 2022 and 2023 respectively and offer an exciting opportunity for progressive businesses to secure resilient, modern premises in Wellington’s newest commercial hub. All spaces now leasing.

An Integrated precinct - A place to work, live and play

One of the largest development sites in Wellington, the Cuba Precinct encompasses the entire city block north from 106 Cuba Street to Dixon Street, and west to Victoria Street and delivers a considered blend of commercial, retail, tertiary and residential offerings in a mix of brand new and transformed heritage buildings.

The first phase of the project delivered the Te Auaha creative arts campus. Phase two is well underway and is transforming the former Farmers building and its neighbours at 104-106 Cuba Street into large-format office space and premium retail units at street level. All 5,800m² of the office space is now leased; there are some retail units still available.

Phase three consists of the Victoria Lane Apartments building, which houses the Stage 1 office campus site on Levels 1-3. with the122 residential apartments above. More than 80% of the residences are now sold and the final apartments on Levels 15 and 16 are due to be released shortly.

The final phase of the development will deliver the Stage 2 office building on the Dixon Street corner. Both office sites provide exceptional office space integrated into the precinct and offering a unique work environment.
